Franchise Facts Report → the report
$99 to know what you're signing
The median franchise in our corpus costs $312,725 to open, and the decision is effectively irreversible — a franchise agreement typically runs ten years, with a personal guarantee behind it. This report is an independent read of that brand's own registered Franchise Disclosure Document: the cost, the fees, the earnings, the lawsuits and the churn, every figure ranked against the other 2,946 brands in our corpus so you can see what's normal and what isn't.
One brand — every number that decides it, in context
- The actual Item 19 earnings figures the franchisor discloses — the number, not just the word “disclosed”
- Total initial investment and every fee you pay forever (Items 5, 6 and 7), against the category median
- Item 3 litigation, with franchisee-versus-franchisor cases separated from corporate and securities matters
- Item 20 churn — closures, terminations, non-renewals and transfers, ranked against peers
- The specific questions to put to the franchisor, drawn from what its own filing leaves open
- Cited to the registered FDD · delivered instantly · save as PDF · yours to keep

Up to three brands, side by side — for a real shortlist
- Everything in the full report, for each of up to three brands
- One side-by-side table: investment, fees, earnings, litigation and growth, aligned row for row
- Which of the three is the outlier, and on which number — the comparison a single FDD can never give you
- Built for the week you are deciding between concepts, not the week you are browsing

What it isn't
It isn't legal or investment advice, and it isn't a recommendation to buy or avoid anything. It's a structured, cited read of what a franchisor put on the public record, set against what the rest of the market put on the public record. Where a filing is unclear we say we don't know rather than guess — 1,275 brands in the corpus have no Item 19 figure from us, and the methodology page explains which of those are genuine non-disclosures and which are filings we couldn't read cleanly.
